Train White Noise is a typical white noise audio track, split-in-two, delayed, and sped-up.
The “split-in-two” audio track received two signals — each with corresponding, separate delays. This ever-present “slight-of-hand” gives the listener the impression of changing corresponding delay times — creating a sound that mimics a train starting, picking-up momentum, and reaching max speed — all in a digital environment.
In other words, the listener hears the unmistakable sound of a train, without hearing an actual train.
